We have three teams with the two adults teams playing in the Manchester Football League Ltd. We are affiliated to the Lancashire FA and play our home games at Fox Park.

Cheltenham Gold Cup Day
Friday 13th March will see the club host a Gold Cup Day down at the lounge. With seven big races on five big screens its bound to be a great afternoon.
We will put on free food and Guinness will be only £3.50 all day.
The bar will open at 12pm with the first race going at 13:20.

9th February 2026
Reed hits four and claims MOTM
It was a good day on Saturday for the reserves as the put eleven passed Astley & Tyldesley FC Reserves at Fox Park without reply.
Davey Reed helped himself to four backed up by Harry Hetherington x 2, Charlie Shepherd x 2, Niall Dunne, Ryan Spencer and John Whitehead completing an exceptional display.
Davey Reed was named MOTM capping a very good day for him personally.

1st February 2026
Hearts at the Double
Both the first team and the Reserves took all three points on Saturday.
The First with a 3-2 away win at De La Salle FC and the reserves with a home win against Radcliffe Town FC.
At present neither side has a game next week but this could change.

26th January 2026
Date Set for Hearts Reserves Big Day
The date and venue have been set for Hearts Reserves Manchester Saturday Amateur Cup final.
They will take on some tough opposition when they face Heywood St James First Team who are currently top of Division Two and two leagues above the lads.
The game will take place on Friday 13th March with a 19:45 KO at Seel Park home of Mossley AFC.
We will release more details nearer the time including information about a coach.

Amanda joins the Committee
Great to see the club getting some female presence on the committee as diversity and equality is something we are really mindful of at Sacred Heart FC and we encourage more female volunteers to come forward and help us become a fully inclusive club.
Amanda will take up the position of Membership Officer on the committee. As part of her role she will be responsible for the distribution of the new membership cards. If you haven't received yours or would like to become a Rochdale Sacred Heart FC Member please have a chat with Amanda.

Semi-Final Joy is well deserved
Hearts reserves have got to the final of the Manchester FA Amateur Cup after a fine display in the semi-final beating Heywood St James Development FC 3-1. This is a county cup in which some big teams entered so is a real achievement for the lads.

18th January
Hearts First Team keep the dream alive
Hearts progressed into the hat for the semi-finals of the Lancashite Saturday Amateur Shield when they beat Eagley FC 5-3 on penalties after the game had finished 2-2 at full time.

17th January
Hearts New Constitution and Rules unanimously voted in at EGM.
On Wednesday 14th January at the EGM at Sacred Heart FC the members unanimously voted in the clubs new articles of association which will now be sent to companies house. We will cover what that means for the club over the coming weeks.

10th January
Hearts Reserves progress to the semi-final
The reserve side under the guidance of Scott Highton and Joe whitham came from 2-0 down at half time to win 3-2 in the County cup quarter-final and will now face Heywood St James Development in the semis. More details to follow.
